Customers may request instant or scheduled rides across Oowhaa Standard, Comfort, Executive, and XL tiers. Before boarding any vehicle, Riders must verify that the vehicle make, color, plate number, and driver photograph match the live dispatch screen.
Riders acknowledge that road transit involves inherent traffic, weather, and third-party road risks. Riders agree not to transport prohibited or hazardous items, not to damage partner vehicles, and to treat drivers with courtesy.
Driver Partners operate as independent commercial transportation providers. Drivers may onboard using:
- Personally Owned Vehicle: Providing full vehicle Make, Model, Year, Plate Number, Color, Tier Category, and 17-character Chassis/VIN.
- Existing Service Partner Vehicle (Fleet ID): Entering an authorized Service Partner's Vehicle ID (e.g.,
OOW-VEH-204) to auto-populate and link a registered fleet vehicle. When operating an existing Fleet ID vehicle, the Driver is strictly liable for traffic compliance, daily vehicle care, and any negligence-related damage or FRSC penalties. - Guarantor Obligations: You warrant that all three (3) guarantors have expressly authorized you to submit their names, email addresses, phone numbers, and passport photographs for identity and indemnity verification.
Service Partners onboarding to the Oowhaa Services track agree to category-specific obligations depending on the service buttons selected:
- Repair (Auto Workshop & Maintenance): Partners must provide transparent diagnostic quotes, use genuine or disclosed OEM-grade parts, and honor workmanship warranties on all serviced customer and driver vehicles.
- Logistics (Parcel, Haulage & Dispatch): Partners assume bailee responsibility for parcels and cargo in transit, maintaining valid goods-in-transit coverage and real-time tracking milestones.
- Car Rental (Executive & Fleet Leasing): Partners must ensure all leased or Fleet-ID-assigned vehicles maintain roadworthiness certificates and comprehensive insurance.
- Car Sale (Selling a Car / Dealership): Partners listing vehicles for sale warrant clear legal title, authentic customs duty papers, accurate mileage/condition disclosure, and compliance with Oowhaa Showroom inspection standards.
Oowhaa calculates upfront ride fares based on distance, estimated duration, tier category, and real-time city demand. Driver Partners retain up to 88% of every trip fare (with a standard 12% platform commission) and keep 100% of rider tips with instant daily bank cashouts.
Rop Points earned from completed rides or referrals may be redeemed toward ride discounts, airtime/data top-ups, or utility payments inside the Oowhaa Wallet and carry no external cash surrender value.
As disclosed in the final onboarding consent step for Customers, Drivers, and Service Partners, physical transportation, mechanical repair, freight haulage, vehicle leasing, and vehicle sales entail operational and financial risks. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oowhaa Mobility & Services Technologies Ltd. from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, traffic or regulatory violations, or misrepresentation of identity or vehicle title.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute not resolved amicably through Oowhaa's 24/7 Resolution Desk within thirty (30) days shall be referred to mediation or arbitration at the Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA) in Victoria Island, Lagos.
